Do I need a doctor’s referral?

No. You do not need a referral to see a physiotherapist in Alberta. Some insurance companies do require a doctor’s referral before they will cover the cost of your appointment. Please check with your specific insurance company prior to your appointment.

Do you direct bill to insurance companies?

Yes! We direct bill to most private insurance companies. We will also provide you with a receipt of services so you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement if necessary.

What types of payment do you take?

We take payment through cash, cheque, e-transfer or with your saved credit card on file. Please note, we do require having a credit card saved on file to book online as well as for our mobile appointments.

What should I wear to my appointments?

We recommend you wear something that is comfortable and that you can move around easily. Ideally, a pair of shorts, a tank top, and running shoes would be best for your sessions.

What does a mobile session look like?

Simply put, we bring our treatment table and equipment with us to set up in your home or workplace. We recommend you choose a place where you have privacy and feel comfortable and secure. We bring our own hand sanitizer with us but may ask to use a sink to wash our hands before and after treatment. We may suggest manual (hands-on) therapy for part of your treatment as well as implement exercises for you to do in-between sessions. We will go over these together and answer any questions you may have along the way. We will book your follow-up appointment before we leave and that’s it!

What does a Virtual Tele-Health session look like?

After we have made contact with you via phone, text or email and have your appointment day and time booked, you will get an email with a link for our virtual call. You will also be emailed your consent and intake forms which will need to be completed prior to the initial assessment. For the virtual call, you will need an electronic device and internet connection and the rest is very similar to an in-person session without the manual therapy.

Do I need to live in the province of Alberta to book a service?

If you are currently living outside of Alberta, please contact us for options.
